It has always been the case that big companies could use their money to buy influence. The problem with Facebook is that influence is their business.
The problem with Facebook is not that they are evil, or that they don’t have the ability to protect our data (which is actually their data).
The problem with Facebook is that it is too big to fit anything of human scale. It’s too big to fit markets (it’s a monopoly). It’s too big to fit in national jurisdictions (as a popular global platform, it has to comply with conflicting laws from different nations at the same time).
My feeling is that Facebook is too big and too powerful to even fit democracy…
So Estonia does not aspire to be a tax haven […] would rather be an administrative haven […]
Έχω διάφορες σκέψεις για το πως, αλλά είμαι σίγουρος στο γιατί. Γιατί θεωρώ ότι δεν ειναι υγιές να υπάρχει μια τόσο ισχυρή εταιρεία. Ελπίζω να βρω τον χρόνο και την όρεξη να γράψω πιο αναλυτικά.
